Gold Filled is water friendly! That being said, it is still important to care for and clean your gold filled jewelry to keep it shining for years!

To keep your gold filled as shiny as possible after being worn in sweat/pool/salt water (aka harsh chemicals), clean your jewelry with warm mild soapy water then dry completely + gently. Gold filled can also be cleaned with a jewelry cloth! Chemicals can eat away at gold even though it is higher quality, so it's always important to clean your jewelry. Even if they are water friendly, they're not always chemical friendly :)

Please note: Gold Filled has a lighter weight to it. Charms are not flat on the back, they are curved in!
