A better build – innovative carbon inlays in Endorfins add strength and flex that enable them to be built with a core comprised of 90% pure air. As a result, Endorfins not only provide optimum performance but also literally float on water.

FIN BOXES: Each set is built with a base that is compatible with either TWO TAB FIN BOXES or SINGLE TAB FIN BOXES. The Futures compatible base on Endorfins will work just like a fin built by Futures with a Futures base. The FCSII compatible base will require two screws that will come with the fins. Endorfins with FCSII compatible bases will not click in and click out.

THE BRANDING: The circle on the side of each Endorfins fin represents flow. It's a new take on Kelly’s iconic circular branding that has appeared on every fin he's endorsed previously, paying homage to the past while building forward towards the future.

THE ECO STORY: ‘Screw your fins, not your ocean”. Kelly has a hobby of collecting fins from the reef in front of his home in Hawaii. These fins are trash, abandoned on the ocean floor. By screwing our fins into our surfboards – and with the fact that they float - we prevent this from happening. We are additionally continuing our commitment to Sea Trees – ‘wiping’ the yearly carbon footprint of our fin production through conserving kelp forest in California, protecting rain forest in Africa, and planting mangrove trees in Indonesia.

The Dominator II is a revisited version that I’m super excited about. The Dominator has been a staple in my quiver, and the Firewire line, since its inception in 2008. The DM II is meant to be a clean update of the original with design features that allow it to work well in a wider range of conditions and enhance its performance. 

The obvious outline change is the tail going to a squash from the round tail. Also, the rails are slightly more refined and performance oriented. The concave is the same under the front foot but splits into a subtle, double-barrel and V out the tail in the last 5”. I normally look for a round tail to provide smoothness in transition from rail to rail and during turns, but the squash tail is proving to not only have that quality as well, but also a bit more release in the turns.

HEY ROB, WHAT IS THE SEASIDE..?

Just evolving the Go Fish to something new, really. The Go Fish goes fast and feels skatey and loose and I love it, and riding it for a couple years made me want to feel more high performance - more carves, tighter turns. So the Seaside is about refining… less area in the tail, narrowing the tips of the swallow, creating more curve and narrowing the nose. All elements for ripping while the Go Fish stays cruisey and fun.

The Seaside is quad only, why?

I decided that if i was going to make a quad I would make a quad that’s strictly a quad ... Design the concaves and bottom contours around that. I actually redesigned my entire concave setup that I’ve been using on the Moonbeam and Go Fish, and did it with the quad setup in mind so that it all works together.

Why name this shape after your home break, Seaside?

Naming surfboards might be the hardest thing to do on the planet [laughing]. It’s just the perfect little stick when I surf my home spot, Seaside.

Why is the Seaside built in Helium?

The first one I made for Tahiti was LFT and I was riding it in 6 foot tubes. But most everyone surfs a shape like the Seaside at beach breaks and little point breaks, so we made it in Helium because it’s really light, very responsive, really flexy with a softer feel and very durable. It’s the best option for a shape like the Seaside in smaller, weaker waves, I think.

A Classic California Nose Rider. If you are looking for a board that does one thing well, and that is nose ride, this is it. Blunt full nose, flat rocker, and a bit of kick in the tail keeps you locked in with ease as you perch your way to the beach with this dream machine. Slightly knifey 50/50 rails engage well and a bit of belly off the bottle allows you to disengage for quick checks into the next section. Deep single concave through the nose stabilizes the board while futher reducing rocker under the belly of the nose. Plenty of vee through the tail and the aforementioned reverse rocker and take a step back onto the tail to have this thing piroutte wherever you’d like to take it. Everyone should have one of these to gentrify their surfing – and damn, they just put a smile on your face every session.

The Throwback Model is our modern interpretation of the classic Retro Twin Fin Fish developed in the 70’s. We’ve been refining this model for over 15 years and it is designed to cater to a wide variety of surfers and conditions.

It works really well in smaller surf due to the wider outline, wider tail and generally low and gradual rocker to help it plane, generate speed and project through flat sections. It also holds a line really well in steeper surf due to the straighter outline thru the back half of the board and thinned out refined retro swallow tail allowing it to easily engage and hold into faster waves.

It’s a great board for anyone stepping down from a bigger board as the general width of the outline and tail offer plenty of stability in any type of surf and if you’re looking for a bit of change from your performance shortboard or lower volume groveler – this a great alternative to a longboard or mid length to catch a ton of waves and surf smaller, lower quality waves with a lot more response.

The rocker is fairly gradual throughout the board, medium gradual entry rocker for easy paddling to get into more waves. This board has more tail rocker as compared to most retro fish, this allows for more responsive maneuverability and tighter radius turns. The overall width of the tail creates plenty of speed and this is countered by the curvature in the tail rocker as well as the vee off the back. This board has a light single concave thru the belly, removing a bit of the rocker and therefore increasing planing power, which then goes into a double concave and vee.

The rails are more of a full/ mid modern shortboard rail – since this board gets most of its stability from its fuller outline, we decided to put a lower rail on it increasing its hold and also sensitivity and rail to rail performance. The board has a hard edge thru the tail allowing it to hold into steeper surf and grip off bottom turns and project down the line and into turns.

The fin placement is just slightly forward of classic retro keel twin fins, this makes the board more maneuverable since most of the fins that will be used in this board have a larger base and more surface area which will generate plenty of hold and drive.

This board flys down the line, generates speed easily and is great for more fluid and creative surfing. A great fit for any quiver and its never a bad idea to have a fish on hand.

The versatility of the Mid Tide shouldn’t be underestimated. This all day, every day surfboard is not intimidating in any way, and has a reliability to it that’ll see her perform in just about any type of waves. This one is defined as a mid-length cruiser with a few smaller sizes in the offering for the more petite girls and those with some intent to their approach.

Winged TriggerFish – the WTF

Changed the bottom slightly, made it into a straight single concave to increase drive, with the sensitivity added from the wing the board gained maneuverability so we countered that with removing the double and vee that the Triggerfish traditionally has, and made it a straight single cocave the whole way through. So what we have here is a board that maneuvers tight and well, but also generates speed down the line. Great addition to your everyday quiver.

Surely not the most attractive name.. But this thing is a beauty. Makes the best of the worse conditions with tons of volume and float through the chest while offering our “double diamond moon” tail for instant manueverability. Board features gradual rocker and a deep single concave throughout to fly through sections and make speed quickly. Great balanced board to accent any quiver.
