Epoxy Microlite now gives you the option of repairing those larger dings in your Epoxy Surfboard or SUP. This product works well and is compatible with all EPS or Polyurethane Cores. It is UV Cure and like all of the Solarez products can be catalyzed if necessary. 
This product dries white and and glossy. It is easy to sand and dries quickly. 

What is Solarez Microlite Dual Cure Epoxy? 
It is a white putty made of high-strength UV-Cure resin and super lightweight additives that effectively repair all types of surfboard foam, including Styrofoam. This putty cures in roughly 3 minutes by exposure to sunlight or artificial UV light. Or, it can be cured by MEKP atalyst for repairing deep cavities, fin plugs or fin box foundations and other internal structural fillings. It sands and fairs very nicely, making it an easy one-step repair for most any ding. 

Instructions

UV-CURE (for superficial dings less than 1/4" deep) 

• Apply in the shade. 
• For easier shaping and faster curing, cover the wet resin with a sheet of clear plastic wrap (Mylar is best). You can easily shape the resin to the contour of the board. 
• Expose to sunlight for 3 minutes 
• Peel off plastic wrap and touch-up sand. 

DUAL-CURE 
1) Into a mixing cup, squeeze out enough Microlite to fill the ding cavity and add 2% Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide (MEKP) catalyst. 
Mix well. 
2) If your ding is very deep, apply a thin layer (1/16") of Microlite all over the interior of the ding. Cure it in the sun for a couple of minutes. 
3) Pour the mixture into the ding cavity, cover with a clear plastic sheet. 
4) Expose to sunlight. The compound will cure throughout in approximately 5 minutes 

The Low-Lite Epoxy 1 oz tube is the perfect UV Curing resin for all types of foam. Same great resin as Solarez UV-Cure Epoxy except designed to cure well in winter months or in areas far from the equator. 

Solarez epoxy repair putty is a mixture of clear, high strength, fiber reinforced epoxy resin and an amazing solar activated catalyst.

• There is no mixing required. Just use it right from the tube.
• It gels in 5 seconds, curing in 3 minutes - but only when exposed to sunlight. 

Formulated especially for surfboard polyurethane foam repair, for deep dings. Lightweight and easy to sand. Cures either by UV light in about 3 minutes or by MEKP catalyst in 30 minutes. Not for use on Styrofoam (EPS). Comes with a 60/240 grit sand pad.
